All our volunteer roles are United States based. The children are cared for by Snehwan in India.
How you can help
We are a new organisation and the board has not yet settled a list of volunteer roles. What we know we will need help with is the work of raising funds in the United States and reporting on the grants we make — not work with children, which is Snehwan’s responsibility in India.
If you would like to help, write to [email protected] and tell us what you are good at and roughly how much time you have. We will come back to you. As the board defines specific roles we will list them here.
We are also forming city chapters — Bay Area, New Jersey, Dallas and Houston so far. If you would like to join one, or start one where you live, say so and we will put you in touch with the chapter lead. See Chapters.
What our volunteers do
All Snehwan USA Inc roles are United States based and concern fundraising, communications, grant reporting and chapter organising. The children are cared for by Snehwan in India, which is responsible for the screening and supervision of anyone who works with them.
