The short version
We collect what we need to process your gift, send your receipt, and stay in touch if you want us to. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with any other organization for any purpose. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
What we collect
- When you give: name, email, billing address, gift amount and frequency. Card details go directly to our PCI-DSS Level 1 processor in hosted fields and never touch a Snehwan server. We never see or store your card number.
- When you contact us or volunteer: what you type in the form, so we can reply.
- When you browse: aggregate analytics only, and only with your consent. Analytics cookies are off until you turn them on.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies are optional and default to off. We use no advertising or social cookies. YouTube does not load, and sets no cookie, until you press play on a video.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of sale or sharing. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, Oregon, Montana and an increasing number of other states have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone regardless of where you live.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you would still like your record removed entirely, use the button below and we will delete it within thirty days.
We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We verify identity before acting on a request and respond within forty-five days.
Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe and our postal address, as US law requires. Unsubscribing from stories does not stop your donation receipts, which we are obliged to send.
Children
