The work your gift supports

Snehwan runs eight projects on and around one campus in Pune district, Maharashtra. Snehwan USA Inc does not operate these projects. It raises funds in the United States and makes grants to Snehwan, which does the work.

How a grant reaches this work

Our board approves every international grant in advance, for stated charitable purposes, under a written agreement. Funds are sent only to Snehwan’s designated account under India’s Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, and Snehwan reports to us on how they were used. The board may decline, defer, reduce or attach conditions to any grant — the discretion is ours, and that is what allows contributions to be made to us rather than sent abroad directly.

Our governance and policies

Snehwan maintains its own website with fuller detail on each project: snehwan.in.
